Free AI chat: start with a free account, no credit card

If you searched try AI chat without signing up, you probably want a real answer without a checkout. On zy.ai that path is a free account, not a guest box. We turned guest messages off so quality stays even on day one.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Send requires a free account (email or Google). There is no five-message guest trial anymore. That used to exist; it produced weak answers and throwaway threads. The honest try is Free after sign-in.

Why we do not offer guest chat

Guest try looked friendly and ranked for “no account.” In practice it was a second, worse product: no history you could trust, more abuse, more error cards. A free account is the same product paying users see, minus frontier seats.

A try path that requires a card is checkout. A try path that ships a broken guest model is a demo of the wrong app. Free after sign-in is the product.

4. Stay on Free until a frontier model is worth $15.
